Walk on... to reduce hip fractures

In a study of postmenopausal women, those who walked four or more hours per week reduced their risk of hip fracture by 41 percent, compared with women who walked less than one hour per week. In fact, for every additional hour per week a woman walked, her risk for hip fracture dropped by another 6 percent.
