In An Emergency
St. Mary's opened a new Emergency Department with state-of-the-art facilities in 1994. With 18 large patient rooms, the expanded department provides special facilities for OB/GYN patients, a decontamination room to treat chemical exposures, multiple registration stations for more efficient service and an area for patients with minor emergencies. The Emergency Department also features an area specifically designed to quickly identify and treat heart problems.
