Getting creative with pain relief
SSM St. Mary’s Health Center is pleased to announce the opening of Creative Solutions for Pain Care with Hagop Tabakian, M.D., a specialist in pain management. The new pain center is located in Suite 310 in the 1031 Bellevue Medical Building on the SSM St. Mary’s campus.
Dr. Tabakian is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management and is a fellow in interventional pain practice. Through comprehensive evaluation and treatment, he can help patients find relief for a variety of conditions, including:
- Head, neck and whiplash pain
- Low back pain
- Spine and hip pain
- Shingles pain
- Shoulder and arm pain
- Cancer pain
- Multiple sclerosis pain
- Arthritic pain
- Post-surgical pain
- Spasticity
Depending on the type and source of pain, Dr. Tabakian may treat patients through spinal injections, joint and soft tissue injections, cranial nerve blocks, peripheral nerve blocks and diagnostic blocks.
