A $20 million investment in your care

SSM St. Mary’s Health Center will invest $20 million over the next two years to renovate and expand its facilities for improved patient care and experience:

  • A new outpatient medical imaging facility will provide greater convenience for patients requiring outpatient testing. A new 64-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner will offer state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging.
  • The emergency department will expand to more comfortably accommodate patients and improve wait times.
  • The health center will shift more patient rooms from semiprivate to private.
  • Patients with heart disease will benefit from a state-of-theart upgrade to one of the four cardiac catheterization labs.
  • New ultrasound technology and a physician specialist in endoscopic ultrasound will enable the Endoscopy Center to more accurately detect and stage gastrointestinal, pancreatic and lung cancers.
“This is exciting news for SSM St. Mary’s and our patients,” says Bill Jennings, president of the health center.
